CHAPTER 1 : Introduction to The Lonely Teenager(that’s me!!!)

OK, let me be frank with you people, I have been grounded since yesterday with my weekly allowance being suspended indefinitely, and since yesterday, confined to my room with lots of idle time on my hands, I have been thinking… thinking about what a teenager (who is short of financial assets) could do in the big bad world out there to earn fame, name and money and I soon find out that I’m left with no major options.
I mean every alternative I think of turns out to be unsuitable for an average teenager from the city. You can see for yourself, like the Share market is totally out of the question (it’s been swinging like a pendulum for the past week…) and whenever it looks a bit hopeful and I dream of making the moolah out of it, there’s always some bloody ‘Market Analyst’ who comes along shouting that there’s likely to be another crash in the coming weeks. Then I thought about writing a novel (ok maybe that was a long shot…moreover I don’t have the patience for it…). Ok, ok how about a short story collection….hmmmm…ok if not that, maybe atleast a newspaper column (who do I think I am ’Khushwant Singh’ or ‘Shobhaa De’…the newspaper would say to me). Maybe I should also forget about receiving the Bharat Ratna this year!!! I kept a lookout for a method to reach out to the masses and that is when I discovered that the blog world was the perfect place for a budding writer like me.
My blog gives the reader a picture to the world through the eyes of a lonely metro-living teenager. The blog will address and display all issues which from my point of view affect a teenager’s life. This blog will be for all those teens out there not only from India but also other countries. I will try to keep my passages long and descriptive but you will have to give me some time as I am new to blogging. I will keep updating stuff here as often as possible. I’ll also try my level best to keep it interesting, witty and humorous while simultaneously addressing an important issue. Please come back in a week’s time or so and check the blog out.
